Approaching By Foot:

Assuming you have just disembarked from Southend Victoria railway station, turn left along The Queensway, turn left again down Short Street. The B & Q and the Post Office depot should now be on your left. You will however need to keep to the right, veer right to the parallel MiltonStreet at the small corner shop. Walk down to the bend and follow road to the right then turn first left onto Grainger Road. Continue down to the end for the entrance to the Industrial Estate. A map on the building wall will guide you to Unit 38, which is at the back row of units and towards the far end.

Approaching By Car:

Do not enter Short Street as depicted by the map, vehicle access is not possible via this route please follow these directions.

Main access to the Mediashed is from Greyhound Way off Sutton Road, depending on your direction at the time you will need to turn into the road "Greyhound Way" towards the Retail Park this currently has within it landmark stores such as Matalan and Mecca Bingo. Continue along Greyhound Way until road takes a sharp left, ahead is the entrance to the Grainger Road Industrial Site.

Parking your car in the car park near the Mediashed is permitted however during the week you are advised to park at or near the Retail park due to day to day work traffic. Please do not park directly outside the Shed as access is required for certain groups using the shed - if you need to park near the entrance for some reason please ask first.
