The MediaShed as a group has at it's disposal individuals that have an interest in film and more specifically in Special Effects. Much of the content with regard to the short films show recently at the E2Prom Night comprised of special effects and owing to the standard of many of the films displayed it is clear that many of you have a great degree of tallent when it come to special effects.
This project is a way to teach others about special effects how to create and manipulate them to achieve the effect you are looking for. We have artist for example that can create from their own imagination face masks out of a latex meterial that is quite easy although time consumming to acheive. If you are interested in creating your own special effects or would like to see the effects created by many of our core MediaShed members then please drop us a line we will arrange a meeting with other artist in the field you are interested in and perhaps display a composition of yours and their work.
