Who Does Them?
Media Shed Projects:
can be proposed by MediaShed members and developed collaboratively with other members or with someone or some group from outside the Shed;
can be commissioned by an outside agency such as a local Youth Service, another arts organisation, council or a charity;
could be initiated by an outide individual and produced, supported and hosted by the MediaShed space and facilities.
What Are They For?
Media Shed Projects are:
an arts project or activity to improve the quality of life in the area;
a creative application of public software and recycled technologies to address some local issue;
a group activity to stimulate the aspirations and self-confidence of its participants especially young people;
a test or implementation of some MediaShed research programme;
to promote the use of Free and Open Source Software as a more flexible and cost effective alternative;
to re-use discarded Waste Electrical Electronic Equipment and create public awareness about recycling and sustainability;
