Participation

On or about 14th October the MediaShed will begin construction of the Groundhog Project even before then we are hoping that the components will start to arrive and assembly of the individual components can begin. You probably thinking about this point what you could possibly offer us, and the truth is not a single person involved in the project has ever done anything close to this sought of work before most if not all are giving up their free time to make this project happen, many are Artist's some, one at least is an Xray Technician/Manager another an IT instructor and so on.

Their are many areas that you could help with many of the developers and project co-ordinators are visiting Southend some for the first time all are adults and will require lodgings for the period 1st Nov to the 14th. If your fieldis in electronic's then we will be looking for people who can assemble from drawings equipment that will be used in the Antarctic we will also need someone experienced in Amature Radio for the path of Packet Transmitter / Reciever etc.

Additionally we are also looking for people to dream up an Artistic project of some sought this could be something like experimenting with Persistence of Vision, Experiments with depth of field, audio experiments how would a hovercraft made from a speaker work in the Antarctic nothing is yet set in stone. Got an idea approach us your project might get accepted as one taken to the South Pole, the media are always interested in bizzar and wierd so lets give them bizzar and wierd we should at least get some notariaty from the local press.
