I saw this exhibition and came across this cool video. It is titled "The Dinner table" by Terry Flaxton. The artist set up an empty dinner table and chairs and projected a video of people eating on the table (but only the hands) along with the sound. I think this sounds like one of the projects that we want to do.

I detailed my research of the official and unofficial media in the building to just the ones I found in the large and small pools.
Here is the result (it is different from the last one as some signs were already taken off)

Essential reading from the man who spent an entire lifetime experiencing and theorizing addiction in relation to CONTROL.

This essay, The Electronic Revolution, is an exploration of the potential uses and abuses of technology in an effort to break methods of control. This is in parallel to the series of audio strategies that i am gradually uploading to Gearbox.

Objectives

The central objective of my research is located on the borderline of the building (inside/outside (dis-)connection). This will be investigated on old and new media as well as physical access.

Search for data available on access to building as a bathhouse
Map media-systems that connect the inside/outside of the building
Measure flows of communication in various parts of the network
Record swipe-card access to building
Install CCTV in the porch and hack neighbouring ones
Record sounds associated to research

This is a nice link for a wifi antenna project:

Eraser devices
EraserDevices is a project aiming to reduce or neutralize the violent saturation of messages punching our faces almost 24 hours. Therefore its main targets are the most aggressive ways of communication.

STREET DEVICES:

We have designed two different types of street devices to fit two different kinds of action.

White Paint. Active device (counter-violence, self-defence): White paint. Meet up with some friends and several brushes and make the walls shut up for a while.

Recyclable paper bag. Passive device (protection). Put a nice recycled (and recyclable) paper bag on your head and make sure you get someone to walk with you.

Project swimmers before diving in the pool into the artists studios.

SwimmersSwimmers

We were talking about possible interventions on the LG and a couple of
good ideas came up:

Connect the gap between the past and present of the building using the
information of the database and video projections around the building.

1. Use the main windows of the front as projection screens (rear
projection in paper) - we tested with the lab projector and it works
quite good.
2. Cover a part (maybe the entire) large pool (top of the studios)
with a canvas-screen and project images of people swimming (with sound
recordings)- create a new void on the building with the past-present
connections
