The Social Telephony Files
a book by Harwood, Wright, Yokokoji

Over the past 8 years the artists have been using the telephone to collaborate with many different kinds of people and places. Some projects have used private internal networks such as the Edinburgh Royal Free hospital while others have spread across the entire public network such as Telephone Trottoire with the Congolese radio program Nostalgie Ya Mboka. The book introduces the idea of Social Telephony and brings together documentation of TextFM, ARoundhead, Telephone Trottoire, Phone Wars, Tantalum Memorial and, for the first time, translated and edited transcripts of the comments recorded by the Congolese participants of Telephone Trottoire.

With a foreword by Matthew Fuller

The book is A5, 90 pages.
